I thought you may want to check out a new feature on the Red Bull Indianapolis GP site, promoting the inaugural Moto GP event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. You can download bike and helmet templates to design. More than 100 designs have been submitted by bike enthusiasts already and the comments are flooding in.

Users can score designs on a five-star scale. Some are pretty harsh comments, but most of the positive comments compliment designs that make bikes really pop on track.

There are only two Moto GP races in the United States, and in 2008, Indianapolis gets to host one of them. On September 14, 2008, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway will host the inaugural Red Bull Indianapolis Moto GP. The first event ever held at IMS was a motorcycle race – the National Motorcycle Race Meet – in 1909! This will be the first time motorcycles have raced on the world-famous brickyard since August of 1909! Get your calendars out and start planning for your trip to Indy in just 7 months!
